RULES AND REGULATIONS

We give much importance to discipline. We stress on punctuality, obedience, wisdom, and good character. If students fail in maintaining their discipline , the school authorities have full right to dismiss them.
» For All students must attend the classes punctually in full uniform and also with their lessons well prepared.
» All students should do their homework properly.
» Students are expected to keep the class rooms and school premises clean.
» Students are not allowed to meet parents or visitors or to leave the school premises during the school hours without permission of the principal.
» Parents are requested to examine the progress of their children by paying attention to their regularity , punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their children’s work.
» Parents are requested to examine the progress report carefully and pay additional attention to see that the students concentrate in weak subjects.
» Taking leave during examinations is strictly restricted.
» Medical certificate should be produced for long absence.
» Jewels should not be worn. If lost, the school will not be held responsible.
» Students should speak only in English inside the school.


COURTESY POINTS

We are judged by others, very considerably by our behavior. Politeness and good manners make a favorable impression. Rudeness and vulgarity make a bad one. If we behave badly in public we not only let ourselves down but also our parents, teachers and school. By trying to control ourselves in speech and actions we shall build up a good standard of behavior. In time, if we persevere , our efforts will become habits so that we are maintain them always. Then ,we can truly say that we are well-mannered. The following “courtesy points” will help us in our effort.
» Students in class should all stand when a visitor enters the room. They should remain standing unless or until told to sit. They should stand again when the visitor leaves.
» Students wishing to enter the class room when the teacher is in the room should wait outside the door for permission to enter.
» Always stand smartly in attention when spoken to by teacher or by elders. Do not lounge with hands in the pockets.
» Treat old people with respect and help them whenever they need it.
» It would be courteous to say , ‘can I help you ‘ to any stronger in the school who obviously does not know the way round or needs some help.
» Always stand aside if you are about to enter a room. Get permission and go in afterwards.
» If a teacher or any adult drops anything, it is polite to pick up for him/her.
» If you are seated in a crowded bus and an old person gets in and finds no vacant seat, it is politer for you to stand up and offer yours.
» Students should greet teacher and adults known to them with respect either with both hands (namasthe) or with the right hand (salute).
» While greeting people it is better to say “good morning” , “good afternoon” etc. than “hello”.
» If you have to pass ,close in front of anyone , always say , “excuse me”.
» While speaking to elders, address a lady as, ‘MADAM’, and a gentleman as, “sir”.
» Chewing (gum,sweet,etc.,) in public is not polite and is forbidden in the classroom.
» Cultivate the habit of quiet controlled movement and speech.
» If you did not hear properly what was said to you, say, “ I beg your pardon”.
» Say, “thank you”, for any service rendered to you.
» In the class or in the hall ,while the teacher or a speaker is talking to the class or to the assembly, keep silence.
» If you MUST cough or sneeze in public , do it quietly into a handkerchief or refrain from doing it, if you possibly can. Do not split wherever you like will spread germs and harm others.
» Keep your text books and note books neat and tidy , properly covered with wrappers.
» The proof of genuine good manners is the constant practice of all these courtesy points in a natural , effortless and unobtrusive way.
